2016 Patient Assistance Programs are budgeted for $400,000
These monies directly support children and youth with their personal journeys of recovery, rehabilitation and independence following a neurological injury. Since our inception in 2011, Andee’s Army has continued to increase our grant monies in order to help more children and young adults.

Continuum of care is essential during the rehabilitation phase, when patients begin to regain function of previous skills, as well as learn new ways to do things where previous abilities have been lost. Our patient assistance programs at Shepherd Center and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta directly support rehabilitation services that are essential in the relearning process that aid in recovery as quickly and efficiently as possible, without breaks or limitations in medical insurance.
