We need you to join our Army – Andee’s Army – on Saturday, September 16th for our Evening of Hope as we honor James H. Shepherd Jr. This special night of community and fun raises funds to provide assistance to children who have suffered spinal cord and brain injury.
This year is the sixth anniversary of Andee’s Army, and we are pleased to honor James at our event. James suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury as a young adult. His family’s search for therapy to aid his recovery ultimately led them to found the Shepherd Center, of which he is Chairman of the Board. This year also marks the high school graduation of our namesake, Andee Poulos, so it is doubly special!
Registration & Sponsoship Information
Flourish is the event location, with delicious food provided by Tony Conway and his award winning team. The Atlantic City Boys will perform everyone’s favorite dance tunes and help us all celebrate.
Most importantly, the funds raised from this event provide much needed support for children with spinal cord and brain injury. The nature of these injuries requires very specialized treatment, often not covered by insurance. Thanks to your previous generosity, Andee’s Army has been able to help over 200 young people. Working with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and the Shepherd Center we have funded individualized rehabilitation and therapies, helping these kids to live as fully and independently as possible.
Please join us as we honor James Shepherd and celebrate Andee’s graduation. It will be an extraordinary night of hope and joy and we need your support to make it all happen!
